People Empowerment

At HolyNations, we are deeply committed to expanding access to education and promoting lifelong learning as a cornerstone of personal and community development.

Digital Skills Training and Access to Technology

Digital Skills Training and Access to Technology In partnership with the UK Government's Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, we launched a digital skills training initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic. This programme continues today, offering regular IT training sessions for both youths and adults across the UK.

We work tirelessly to bridge the digital divide. Our support is particularly focused on individuals from the BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) community who may struggle to access technology. We assist them in navigating and benefiting from government schemes, while also providing essential digital training. Internationally, we have shipped hundreds of computers to schools and communities in Ghana, Nigeria, and other African nations—opening up opportunities for digital learning and literacy.

Digital Skills Training and Access to Technology

Since 2017, we have helped individuals—particularly from the BAME community—pursue further and higher education through targeted capacity development programmes. These include mentoring, skills training, CV support, and career counselling, benefitting hundreds of young people to date.

Support for Marginalised and At-Risk Groups

Our programmes also extend to:

  • Young people transitioning from care into independent living
  • Skills development for those at risk of social exclusion
  • Empowering women and girls in science and technology fields

Tackling Irregular Migration through Empowerment

To address the root causes of irregular migration, we conduct awareness campaigns across sub-Saharan Africa, with a special focus on coastal regions. Through school-based empowerment initiatives, we equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive locally helping them avoid dangerous migration routes and dispel unrealistic perceptions of life abroad.
